How the Petfinder integration works

• Publish from your animal record. Mark an animal as available and its details and photos flow to Petfinder — no re-entering data.
• Stay in sync. When an animal is adopted, transferred, or put on hold in Pet Friend, its Petfinder listing updates to match, so adopters aren't inquiring about animals that are already gone.
• One source of truth. You manage each animal once, in Pet Friend; Petfinder reflects it.

Every hour an adopted animal lingers on Petfinder is a wasted inquiry; every animal that never makes it onto Petfinder is a missed adoption.
