People & Contacts

The People area is your shelter's contact book — adopters, volunteers, fosters, staff, and veterinarians, all in one place. Let me show you how easy it is to keep it tidy.

Here's everyone at a glance — each person with their type, their contact details, and their address.

To add someone, you click Add Person.

Enter their name, phone, email, and address, choose what kind of contact they are — and click Save Person. That's the whole job.

Finding people is just as quick. Search by name up here, or filter the list by type in one click.

Open anyone, and you'll see every animal linked to them — the pets they've adopted, the ones they're fostering, and the cases they're part of.

Volunteers give you their time — and here's where you give them credit. Open Volunteer Hours, and click Add Hours.

Pick the volunteer, the date, and the hours — even two and a quarter — and save. Totals roll up into reporting, so nobody's impact is ever invisible.
