Data storage & data usage
Every plan includes 10 GB of data storage plus monthly data usage (downloads & streaming) — 100 GB on Shelter and Shelter Plus, 50 GB on Rescue — plenty for photos and paperwork. Uploading evidence video or a lot of media? Add capacity only when you need it — data storage and data usage are measured per organization, so you never pay for space you don’t use.
Data storage and monthly data usage (downloads / streaming) are measured per organization from Pet Friend’s S3 & CloudFront media stack. Every plan includes 10 GB of data storage; monthly data usage includes 100 GB on Shelter and Shelter Plus and 50 GB on Rescue. Beyond that, additional data storage is $20/month per 10 GB and additional data usage is $20/month per 100 GB — a full block per started 100 GB over your allowance, whether you’re 1 GB or 99 GB over. Add-ons are prorated, can be changed or cancelled at any time, and any overage is billed automatically to your subscription. 1 GB = 1,073,741,824 bytes. All prices in USD.
AI assistance optional · Shelter Plus
Speed up data entry with AI: pull an animal’s details from a photo, a document or scan, or a typed note, and draft adoption bios — every result is a suggestion your staff review before saving. Returning-animal detection (spotting a re-surrender or return) is included free on Shelter Plus.
AI features are an optional add-on for Shelter Plus at $20/month, which includes 100 credits — each AI action (photo intake, document extraction, fill-from-text, adoption bio) uses a credit or two. You’re never charged beyond the monthly price unless you opt in to overage, which adds 100 credits for $20 per block. Returning-animal / duplicate detection is included on Shelter Plus at no extra cost. Add-ons are prorated and can be changed or cancelled at any time. All prices in USD.
